How It Works?
A Home Care Package is government subsidised funding accessible to older Australians making the care services required to stay at home more affordable, for brighter opportunities.
There are 4 types of categories of care packages available depending on the complexity of care requirements.
Once you have been allocated a Home Care Package by My Aged Care you can expect the following government funds to be allocated according to the level of care you will be receiving:
Level 1 Package
Supports people with basic care needs.
Level 2 Package
Supports people with low level care needs.
Level 3 Package
Supports people with intermediate care needs.
Level 4 Package
Supports people with high level care needs.
Home Care Packages have been designed to enable those with care needs to maintain independence, dignity and choice whilst still having the luxury of being able to live in the comfort of their own home.
